It can definitely be challenging working from home right now, especially with kids. Our daughter is two, and it’s a struggle at times since she doesn’t understand why I can’t play with her whenever she wants me to. However, I would not trade it for anything at the moment. It has been really nice getting to see how she grows and learns everyday. Just a few months ago she was make 2-3 word sentences. Now she’s making 5-6 word sentences. I know that I would still be seeing her in the evening when I come home from work, but seeing these changes as they happen is something special. 😊

What can I say about this amazing woman? I still can’t believe that she said yes and decided to walk along side me in marriage. I feel as blessed today as I did the day we started dating. She has been my rock and best friend. She is such an amazing woman and mother to our two daughters. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t honor both of them.

Mother’s Day is always hard since we lost our first daughter. We had some special family time this morning as our youngest wanted to have a princess dance party. This was very emotional since we were missing one family member. But seeing the strength that Shannon has in these moments is awe inspiring and gives me strength as well.

I just pray that I can continue to honor her as a husband and let her know how amazing she is as a wife and mother.

I love you so much and cherish each day that we have together.

When reading bedtime stories, Emma wants to hold the books and keeps spinning them around playing. Then it occurred to me that reading a Dr. Seuss book upside down actually feels kind of normal. πŸ˜‚
