Tried to start up the laptop today after the water fiasco Saturday. Was hoping that letting it dry and drain for two days would be ok. Surprisingly, it booted up and seemed to be ok. However, it looks like there is some damage to the battery or the cables. It will only turn on if it’s plugged in. Will still have it checked out, but at least we can recover stuff that wasn’t saved or backed up yet.
I’m finally ready to join the “I spilled a glass of water on my MacBook Pro” club. Trying to be optimistic as it lays here drying out. However, the fact that it immediately shut down before I could start drying it doesn’t leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Hello beautiful. 😊 First day back in the office in about 5 months. Feels like my first day all over again. @Lifeattrivago
Beautiful rainbow this evening during the rain. The picture doesn’t do it justice since we have a mesh screen over the window. It was so bright that we could make out all of the colors. 😍🌈
Me: Emma, what would you like for breakfast?
Emma: Chips and cheese please.
Me: How about cereal or yogurt?
Emma: NO!!! I said …….. (then proceeds to laugh)
Me: Excuse me? 😳 🤦♂️
I think that this is great. EPB providing internet for students. EPB was still rolling out all of their fiber internet plans when I moved away from Chattanooga, but I knew that it would be great for the city. So awesome to see them giving back.
Giving light mode a try again since going all in on dark mode since it was released on iOS and macOS. With the sun making some big appearances this week it’s made it a bit easier to see the screens when in direct sunlight. It’s been kind of nice. Like visiting an old friend that you haven’t seen in over a year. 😂
You know that your 2 year old is not feeling well when she says no to chocolate and ice cream. 😔
