I have to say that today was a good day. We’ve had a dependency in our app that has been a pain to update in the past. It’s now available as a Swift Package and I was amazed that the update went so smoothly. #mbnov

I always had this perception that the elderly just commanded respect and wisdom. Not in a negative way, from what they have accomplished and lived through. I’m only 41 now, but the older I get, I start to wonder what have I done that would do the same when I’m elderly. #mbnov

Sometimes, I really wish that I could force dependency updates in our app to magically work without any issues. #mbnov

I really like the screen savers on the Apple TV. Especially the underwater theme. I sich that they had a seasonal theme that changed for seasons and holidays.

I can’t come up with anything for bind. But I don’t want to miss a day for Microblogvember. So maybe I can just say bind a couple of times and it will count. 😬 #mbnov

This is pretty accurate. 😂

I’m glad that we found our balloon pump. As much as our daughter enjoys balloons lately, I’m exhausted from inflating them. #mbnov

I really shouldn’t be surprised, but everyone’s behavior during this election is really puzzling to me. It is really sad to see so much hate and division. #mbnov

I’ve never lived in a place with a stoop, only front porches. I try not to stoop to someone else’s level. For some reason the Disturbed song Stupify is now on my mind. I’m not really sure what else to say for today’s Microblogvember word of the day. #mbnov

I’m nearly finished with the current feature ticket that I’m working on and excited that it should be wrapped up before the weekend. Then QA pings me that they found a crash in another ticket that I recently finished. 😭 #mbnov

I’m constantly astonished at how much our daughter learns every day. It’s so fun watching her discover everything for the first time. #mbnov

When the lockdowns started, earlier this year, it was a challenge to learn how to concentrate and focus, while working at home with a two year old. Now that she is in Kita (daycare), the silence feels strange and abnormal. #mbnov

The weekend started out with nice weather but then turned dreary. All I wanted to do was nap the whole weekend. #mbnov

Finally got some more decorating done. Emma wasn’t too excited about the spider at first, but she eventually thought that it was funny.

Remembering our Stella Rose tonight for the annual wave of light for baby loss awareness week.

Tried to start up the laptop today after the water fiasco Saturday. Was hoping that letting it dry and drain for two days would be ok. Surprisingly, it booted up and seemed to be ok. However, it looks like there is some damage to the battery or the cables. It will only turn on if it’s plugged in. Will still have it checked out, but at least we can recover stuff that wasn’t saved or backed up yet.

I’m finally ready to join the “I spilled a glass of water on my MacBook Pro” club. Trying to be optimistic as it lays here drying out. However, the fact that it immediately shut down before I could start drying it doesn’t leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Hello beautiful. 😊 First day back in the office in about 5 months. Feels like my first day all over again. @Lifeattrivago

Beautiful rainbow this evening during the rain. The picture doesn’t do it justice since we have a mesh screen over the window. It was so bright that we could make out all of the colors. 😍🌈

Me: Emma, what would you like for breakfast?

Emma: Chips and cheese please.

Me: How about cereal or yogurt?

Emma: NO!!! I said …….. (then proceeds to laugh)

Me: Excuse me? 😳 🤦‍♂️
