While visiting the Santa Monica pier, there was a plane flying overhead with a banner advertising Stella Rosa wine. All of the feels were hitting, our first daughter passed away in 2015 and her name is Stella Rose. Seeing her little sister looking up at the banner and saying, “it’s Stella”, was bittersweet. It’s always hard on family vacations, missing her, but I always love seeing her name pop up in random moments like this.
