I think that I’m finally ready to migrate my mastodon account to my micro.blog account. I’ve putting it off for a while now. I don’t really like cross posting b/c it gets confusing on where the conversation is. I would prefer to have my blog as the source of truth and all conversations live there instead of in different accounts. That’s supposed to be the point of this fediverse thing. I shouldn’t need an account on every service, but we end up still doing that regardless. Mainly because the services still don’t play nice with each other. But I have hope that one day it will happen. For now, I need to simplify things from my side. I’m not sure if the mastodon migration will automatically update everything properly, so if you follow my mastodon account and want to keep following me then follow @donny@donnydavis.us.
