What a few days. My mom was coming to visit us. Flying from the U.S. to Germany. Her trip has had so many issues from the start. Two hour delay in Chattanooga, missing her connection in Detroit, then a two hour delay the next day leaving Detroit. Her flight leaving Amsterdam, this morning, was delayed a bit due to winds. Then her plane was struck by lightening and had to turn back to Amsterdam. Thankfully everyone on the flight was ok. She finally made it to Düsseldorf, minus luggage. We’ll get that tackled tomorrow. For now I’m thankful that she’s ok and finally here.
